Acquisition of Wolturnus

Asker Healthcare Group has acquired 100 percent of the shares in Wolturnus A/S, a Danish based manufacturer and distributor of custom-made mobility aids and pressure care products.

Using techniques from racing bikes, their custom-made wheelchairs have become widely used by athletes including paralympic gold medallists. Based in Aalborg in Denmark, Wolturnus specialises in the manufacturing and sales highly specialised custom-made mobility aids and pressure care products. The company has 80 employees and a revenue of approximately SEK 150m per year.
